AST 101: Antepartum Peer Support Training

A new way of caring for women who are experiencing difficulties and stress in pregnancy. Women on bedrest can feel so isolated, women who have little ones at home and have nausea or other effects of the pregnancy need support. They could use some TLC and you can be one of the trained professionals who are providing care in the home for the pregnant woman and the family.

You don't have to have a medical background, but you should be willing to learn about how to help!


Requirements for certification

Certification: Certified Antenatal Support (CAS)

Cost: NIS 3,000(payment plan available)

Workshop required: None

How long does it take: 10-14 months

Time limit: None
Breastfeeding support required: Provide 30 hours of breastfeeding support

Exam: Multiple choice open book exam

Assignment: One written paper, and breastfeeding case studies

Other requirements: Read 5 books and survey on breastfeeding support available locally

Refunds: 2 day full refund less admin fee of $50

BF 101: Breastfeeding Counselors

You have the opportunity to make a real difference to the families they work with.

You will be able to help mothers overcome breastfeeding difficulties, building a close relationship with the women you are working with, and knowing that in your support, you can help a mother and baby to gain the benefits of breastfeeding.  If you want to help women, believe that breastfeeding provides the best nutrition for babies, and want more than a 2-3 day introduction that a workshop provides, this is the Breastfeeding Counselor training and certification program for you!

BF 201: Breastfeeding Support-

This course is designed for Grandmothers, Sisters, Aunts who are going to be providing support for the new mothers in their families!
You will learn about the normal expectations and how to tell if the baby is eating enough! You will learn about what to do at home to increase comfort for the new mommy.
You will learn about supporting your precious new mother and baby in their efforts to adjust to this new and special role in the family.

Homeopathy is a powerful yet gentle system of healing popular in Europe and becoming popularized in the US. Homeopathy can be effective for people who have over-sensitivities, respond poorly to conventional medicine, mental and emotional issues, and children including those with behavioral and developmental disorders.

This class will explain the basic principles of homeopathy, how it is practiced, and how homeopathy can benefit you or your child.
We will cover some basic remedies that every parent should keep in their home and how to use them, of course!
